  • Sociology Department: Intern– Performed various duties for award winning UCSB Sociology professor, Dr. Victor Rios: Research assistant, personal book editor of Human Targets, supervised Sociology students, and coded surveys
  • GIVE-Growth International Volunteer Excursions: Volunteer– Partnered with a local NGO to protect the Asiatic Black Bear by landscaping a preserve in Luang Prabang, Laos 
- Taught English to local children in Sop Chen, Nong Kaiwi, and Muang Ngoi
- Worked on a construction site to build a school dormitory in Muang Ngoi
