The Jog-A-Thon is Coming


We are having our 23rd Annual Jog-A-Thon on Thursday, February 1, 2024 .  All students are encouraged to get sponsors while they run/walk for 20 minutes.  This is a fun, healthy way to show our support for Catholic Schools and raise funds for educational technology and campus security upgrades.

Catholic Alumni Partnership


Did you know that Our Lady of Guadalupe is a member of the Catholic Alumni Partnership (CAP), Cohort 1?   The Catholic Alumni Partnership is a network of dioceses and schools working to reconnect alumni with their Catholic alma maters. The Catholic Alumni Partnership works together to create sustainable support for every Catholic elementary school through alumni engagement, participation, and philanthropy.  They have a successful network of 470 elementary schools and over 1 Million+ graduates and growing!

Secret Santa Volunteer Opportunities Coming Soon!


Please join us for a  fun evening of making delectable items for sale at the Secret Santa Shop. No experience needed just need some helping hands to make these store favorites for the kids. No sign up needed just show up. Great way to get hours and have some fun.

Donations Needed

We need a few items to help make the final items for the Secret Santa Store. Please be on the look out for our wish list coming soon. If you can volunteer to donate any of the items please sign up and drop off before or at the Craft night.  For every $12.00 you spend you get 1 volunteer hour. Just remember to include your receipt with your donation and write you name on it.

OLG is a selected recipient of the C3 Ignite Grant!


Based on our application and various readiness criteria, Catholic Schools LA has chosen our school to be one of the recipients of the C3: Ignite $6 million grant, which funds educational technology.

This partnership will implement technology for student learning and excellence, leading to long-term sustainability and viability. The program will be implemented for the upcoming school year.

ECP Available 2/29/16


Dear ECP Families,

A reminder that our teachers will be attending an inservice all day and classes will not be in session on Monday, February 29.

Extended care will be offered for those families who need child care. Please email me at OLG ECP to confirm if your child(ren) will attend ECP on Monday, 2/29/16. Please provide us with an estimated time of your child’s drop off and pick up times.

It is very important that we receive your response, as this will help me determine staff schedules and hours of operation.

If we do not hear from you, we will assume you do not need child care.

If your child(ren) attend ECP on Monday, 2/29/16, they may wear free dress.

Please pack a lunch and extra snacks for your child.

We will provide a light snack at 3:00pm.

OLG Soccer – Meeting Announced


Hello Soccer families, we are having a soccer meeting, Wednesday January 27, 2016.  We are asking for interested coaches, team parents, any interested 5th through 8th grader.  Remember there needs to be at least 14 players per team, no less, or a team cannot be fielded.  Meeting is in the gazebo @3:30.  See you there!  Coach R :)

Catholic Schools Week – January 31


This is a special time of year for all Catholic schools as we prepare to kick-off Catholic Schools Week on January 31st during the 8am and 9:45am masses. Please help us kick-off this nation-wide celebration of the lifelong blessings of a Catholic education by attending mass on the 31st, followed by Donut Sunday hosted by our talented Student Council and enthusiastic Kinders. There will be many opportunities to join in the week-long fun with volunteer sign-ups and more details coming soon. Stay tuned!

Jog-A-Thon 2016 – Dust off your running shoes!


Our Lady of Guadalupe School is having its 14th Annual Jog-A-Thon on Thursday, February 4, 2016 during Catholic Schools Week. All students will participate and may walk, jog, or run to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to healthy lifestyles. All proceeds will go towards enhancing our music and physical education programs.

Back to School Food Truck Festival


Please join us for the Back to School Food Truck Festival on September 11th (Friday) from 5PM to 9PM. We’ll have three critically acclaimed food trucks: Los Lobos, Paradise Fine Cookies & Ice Cream, and Dogtown Dogs; a free bounce house for the kids, and lots of place to eat and mingle!
